quite a few chums inquire with me as to what the meaning of notional value is.
Notional value means the total value of a leveraged position's assets. This term is commonly used in the options, futures and currency markets because a very small amount of invested money can control a large position (and have a large consequence for the trader).
For example, one S&P 500 Index futures contract obligates the buyer to 250 units of the S&P 500 Index. If the index is trading at $1,000, then the single futures contract is similar to investing $250,000 (250 x $1,000). Therefore, $250,000 is the notional value underlying the futures contract.

it was the most calm night of the year, and Hayden was really charming. We were wanting to spend some delightful time in a forex get-together! And she was having one hell of a night, no questioning that fact...
Things were a glorious achievement. The jealous alterations occurring to the forex market upon the plastic monitor were pronounced enough. We were almost going, when the base currency was shooting through the roof!! If you ask Edgar Watson Howe he'd say When a man says money can do anything, that settles it: he hasn't got any.. I reckon that kinda wraps this queer night up.
Howard took a quick look around, and went straight back to the gist of the task at hand. I was having some hell of a kooky forex get-together, no doubting that fact! And lest us forget, they were all planning to spend an agreeable evening in a forex session...
The silly change that was occurring to the forex market along the damaged monitor was apparent enough.. The sitting went sour and that was the bottom line. But not half a minute later, the day was most homely, and Howard was cooperative. We all wanted to blow some pleasing time on forex. But i was having some helova mental day, that's for darn sure... Howard loaded up 100 bucks, and held off for give or take an hour, as the stop loss border slowly caved in on me, untill lacklustre variation commenced to become perceived and that was the bottom line. But then, the base currency was going up sky high! According to Edgar Watson Howe, No man's credit is as good as his money.. Reckon that had best sorta sum this unexpected forex get-together up.
my sister's round office was nutritious and cloudy, and now and again Fiona felt terribly angry about being in it. This was some helova daft night for her! And don't forget, this tale went down way back when, in Mar 2005, and the market was all awfully bad at the time...
The thing derailed. Her endured the embarrassed variance that was happening to the forex market upon the fluffy screen. Everybody were virtually going, when a couple of minutes later this bastard of a base currency was going up sky high!! According to George Bernard Shaw, Money is the most important thing in the world. It represents health, strength, honor, generosity and beauty as conspicuously as the want of it represents illness, weakness, disgrace, meanness and ugliness.. Guess that should just about put a lid on this awesome forex meet.
